About Unawa Circle
You've always been wired differently. Welcome to a space that was built for exactly that.
You've felt it. The way work systems assume everyone thinks the same way, processes the same way, shows up the same way.
The exhaustion of trying to fit inside a structure that was never built with you in mind. The quiet suspicion that you're not different in a bad way. Just different, in a world that hasn't caught up yet.
If that sounds like you, we've been looking for you. Come join our circle.

Who We're Gathering
Unawa Circle is a growing community of neurodivergent Filipino adults who are done navigating the working world alone. Whether you're a virtual assistant, a remote worker, an office employee, a freelancer, or somewhere in between, if you've ever felt like the system wasn't built for your brain, this is your space.
You don't need a diagnosis to be here. You just need to recognize yourself in the feeling: that something about the standard way of working has never quite fit, no matter how hard you've tried to make it work.
ADHD, autism, dyslexia, sensory processing differences, anxiety that doesn't have a neat label. All of it belongs here. So do the people who are still figuring out what to call what they're experiencing.

Sound familiar?
This circle might be exactly where you belong.

Some days work completely wipes you out and other days you're somehow 10 steps ahead of everyone else. Both are real, and neither one makes sense to the people around you.

Group chats, team calls, and even casual conversations feel like a battlefield. You want to join in, but there's always that pause where you're calculating what to say and whether it'll land right.

You've used AI to rewrite an email. Not because you couldn't write it, but because you needed to check if it would come across the way you actually meant it.

People tell you 'you seem totally fine' and you are, sort of. But staying that way takes everything you have. The mask fits well. Wearing it all day doesn't.

Even with people who know you well, there's this feeling that they're seeing a version of you. Not quite the full picture. Like you're always slightly lost in translation.

You've tried different jobs, different teams, different setups and the feeling follows you. Not quite belonging. Not quite fitting. Wondering if you ever will.
What We Believe
We're not here to demand that systems change overnight. We know that's not how it works. But we do believe that change starts with visibility, and visibility starts with us finding each other.

Neurodivergent adults are carrying a lot. Some are parents, some are students working to make ends meet, some are navigating burnout, family pressure, caregiving responsibilities, unstable work, or the exhaustion of masking just to get through the day.
Â
Some are even working in mental health, education, healthcare, and other helping professions, where they may have the language to support others but still struggle to find systems that support them.
Â
This shared reality doesn't disappear when the workday starts. Most workplaces have no idea what to do with that: no resources, no framework, no language for it.

The more neurodivergent Filipinos understand themselves, support one another, and find their footing in their communities, the harder it becomes for systems to keep pretending we don't exist.
Â
We don't need to shout. We just need to be present and growing.
That's what Unawa Circle is for.
Our Core Values

GATHER
Find your people. No one should have to figure this out alone.

GROW
Learn tools, language, and frameworks that actually work for your brain.

THRIVE
Not just survive the day.
Â
Build a working life that fits who you actually are.

INSPIRE
Show systems what's possible when neurodivergent minds are supported, not suppressed.
About our logo

Our logo is made of circles: overlapping, intersecting, and holding each other. That is what we are building here.

The yellow is intentional. We chose it because yellow feels warm, open, and inviting. It reminds us of what can happen when people finally find the right information, the right community, and the right words for what they have been experiencing. Something starts to feel clearer. Something lights up.

We want everyone who enters this circle to feel a little more seen, a little more supported, and a little brighter than when they arrived.

Systems change when enough people refuse to stay invisible. We are gathering, growing, and creating a space that cannot be overlooked.

A note on what Unawa Circle is
Unawa Circle is a free learning and community platform. It is not a clinical service or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you feel like you may need support beyond what we offer, we gently encourage you to reach out to a licensed professional.
Â
We’re also putting together a list of resources for those looking for therapists in their area. Feel free to message us at unawacircle@gmail.com if you’d like a copy.
