Gillian is a psychologist, researcher, and mental health advocate who knows firsthand what it is like to navigate a world that was not built for her brain. With a background in online healthcare and virtual mental health support, she brings both clinical insight and lived experience into everything she builds.

Her work includes over two years as a therapist in a rehabilitation center, where she directly supported neurodivergent adults, and nearly a decade of humanitarian volunteering, bringing mental health expertise to communities affected by socio-environmental disasters and armed conflict.

Through all of it, one belief has stayed constant: mental health support should be accessible to everyone, not only to those who can afford it.

She built Unawa Circle for anyone who has ever felt like they were running on a different frequency and never found a space that truly got it.

She may have stepped back from therapy, but she never stopped wanting to help.
